Tim:
I couldn't agree more. Also just like any other investment, don't invest or bet more than you can afford to lose or can live with losing.

Real estate is one of the most lucrative businesses if you know how to ride on "current" trends in the industry no matter what state you are in.

Currently here in our area, the real estate market is not that bad. Well, a lot of individuals are currently taking their chances on getting real estate licenses. There is so much to expect - especially with a growing housing market.

Bill is right, Donna. Each market has its own advantages and disadvantages.

Donna:
What you've described is a buyer's paradise. The real estate market can not be described as good or bad as a whole because at least one group (buyers or sellers) has an advantage over the other. To be described as bad, neither buyers nor sellers have an advantage. Of course the only exception to this is intervention by the federal government. They actually have the ability to screw it up for everybody.

Believe it or not, the real estate market can never be described as bad, so cheer up.

I don't agree on this one. If you at one point of time (or period which is even worse) have dozens of thousands home on sale by banks and zero interest in buying, that is really, really bad. fall 2008. doesn't ring any bells?
